Someone hit me up on MySpace to tell me about this dude from NY that's killin' them on the WPGC 95.5 MIC Fight.  You know I don't listen to the radio.  But that's only because I'm out of town most of the damn time and I can't pick up DC radio stations.  Anyway come to find out it's the guy that's winning the battles that sending me the message.  Hey, I respect the grind.  I figure he must be somewhat nice if he's from New York city and still getting enough votes in DC to win the battle.  I'm going to keep it really real right now...You know the commercial where they're talking about the sauce that's made in Texas and some lame yells out that this is from New York City...and how the next statement is get a rope:  I think that a lot of rap artists in the DMV feel that way when an emcee (from anywhere but especially New York City) steps up and wins in this town.  Anyway I decide to tune in online to the MIC Fight.  I hear the kid,...and yeah he got skills.  So yeah, we had to kick with him a minute.

DCMM: hey , what's good fam

T Dollaz:  Chillin Chillin I jus came back from doing some local shows in Brooklyn. I'm here now, what's really good

DCMM: Alright...you been killing it on the WPGC MIC fight. Tell us how you got into battling'

T Dollaz: Well I mean I moved out here from New York just on my grind selling my mix tape on the streets $5 a pop...battling isn't really my thing I like making good real hop hop music!...but I met up with Aladdin one of the guys on WPGC he bought a CD and called me the same day and said yo u want to come in for an audition I said why not....so I'm really doing this jus to get my name out...I don't like battling but please believe I will bite a n**** head off...if need be...but at the end of the day I love making good MUSIC!!

DCMM: That's what's up.... your in DC now doing your thing.  Tell me what you think about the hip-hop movement here?

T Dollaz: I think its a lot of opportunities out here for anybody to do there thing....but the problem I think out here is no one likes to show each other love....I see the only ones getting love is go go...and I'm not knocking go go but there is a lot of talent out here in the DMV....yaw feel what I'm saying.

DCMM: Fo' sho,... I hope you get a chance to politic with some of the real MC's here in the DMV.  I respect your grind T: a lot of people don't understand you have to stay on your grind to get that recognition as a up coming artist.  So you still roll between here and NY to keep that buzz going?

T Dollaz: Yea you can call it my I-95 grind....NY 2 DC....yea I met with one good artist by the name of Godzend...yea you got to keep pushing and stay focused....see like me I don't even party all I do is eat sleep drink music....I'm just on my grind trying to meet all the right people....while n**** in the club, I'm in the studio u feel me....

T Dollaz: On the real HATERS inspire me...when people hate it jus turns me into like david banner....not "like a pimp" david banner but the incredible hulk david banner....when they hate they jus turn me into this lyrical beast....I turn into a animal on the MIC....my engineer should be a zoo keeper ya feel me...but other that that jus real good hip hop....
